The Catholic Women’s League (CWL)
The Catholic Women’s League of Canada calls its members to grow in faith, and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service. You only need to be 16 years old to join, and you are never too old to become a member! While being Roman Catholic or an active church member is wonderful, it is not required. We are simply grateful for whatever time you are able to share. There is no pressure or obligation—you choose the activities you wish to participate in. If membership fees are a concern, assistance is available; please speak with our Membership Convener. Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month, from September to June, at 7:00 pm in the Hearth Room.

Knights of Columbus
Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families.
In the current struggle for our Catholic Church, the natural family, separate schools, Special Olympics, and the protection of life from conception to natural death, the Knights of Columbus expands men’s potential in their roles as Catholics, husbands, fathers, and grandfathers. Like the acorn that grows into an oak tree, the potential for greatness lies in all of us, it just needs some guidance to grow and fulfill its potential.
If you are a Catholic male, over the age of 18 and would like more information. Please reach out to our Grand Knight, Anthony Mari at anthonymari@icloud.com
Men’s Group
The Saturday Morning St. Margaret Mary Men’s Program meets every Saturday morning. These spiritually fulfilling sessions take place in the Hearth room and begin at approximately 7:00am and end at 8:30am. Each week we watch a faith filled video as part of the series we are engaged in and then break into small groups for discussion. We often use the free Catholic streaming platforms FORMED or Heroic Men to derive the video series which are shown.
While we would encourage men to attend each week you are free to come any week that you wish that meets your busy schedule. The Men Program is a format that is in place in many Catholic parishes around the world. It guarantees to be spiritually enhancing as well as a fantastic way for men to not only deepen their faith but forge new friendships.
This is the 4th year that the Men’s Program has been facilitated at St. Margaret Mary but it is important to note that it is not exclusive to only the men of the Parish but is open to men of all parishes to attend. Feel free to invite your relatives and friends who may be interested.
Please feel free to email Jeff Toole if you have any questions.
